Our R&D department is the innovation driver within the group and has two main locations: Bologna and Shanghai. As an ODM, we offer customized solutions leveraging extensive technical expertise spanning hardware, firmware, mechanical design, certification, industrialization, and process optimization to fully meet customer needs.

We design and customize electronic boards and electro-mechanical devices according to the specifications and needs of our customers to transform them into finished products to be put on the market.

Validation and certification

Collaboration with a widespread network of certified external laboratories to ensure complete product validation

Technical skills

Hardware and firmware design

We design analog and digital hardware solutions: power conversion devices, inverters for engine control, embedded microcontroller/microprocessor cards, sensors and connectivity.
Integration with firmware extends to HMIs, communication protocols, and advanced sensor management, making it customization possible based on specific customer needs. We are also active in terms of compatibility with the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the IEC 62443-4-1 certification on the safe development cycle for products to be included in industrial automation systems and control systems.

Mechanical engineering and product industrialization

We specialize in the industrialization of mechatronic products and pay particular attention to both aesthetics and heat dissipation management. Our team is committed to transforming projects into production-ready products, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of quality and design at every stage of the process.

PCB design and layout optimization

We design printed circuit boards (PCBs) covering every phase of the project: from the optimization of the diagram and layout to compliance with the DFM (Design For Manufacturing) and DFT (Design For Testability) criteria. This methodology guarantees a highly efficient and superior quality production.

Validation, testing and certification

In-circuit and functional validation and testing are essential to ensure the reliability of our products. We also offer support in certification management and pre-production compliance, ensuring strict compliance with international regulatory standards before entering production.

Product life cycle and documentation management

Our experience in scheduling and project management includes RFQ support for the efficient introduction of new products to the market. Our complete support in the management of technical documentation (BOM) focuses on the analysis of critical components and the monitoring of requests for price changes and obsolescence, to ensure perfect management of the entire product life cycle.
